Come in and Share Some

of Your Good Will

Welcome to The Olde Bartley House Coffee and Donuts, where rich history meets hand-crafted flavor in the heart of Brown County. Housed in a beautifully restored 1886 building, our café offers more than just your morning pick-me-up—it’s an experience steeped in local heritage. From the warm wood floors to the vintage charm throughout the space, The Olde Bartley House is a tribute to the past, including a special homage to renowned photographer Frank Hohenberger, who lived here from 1948 to 1963. Hohenberger famously documented life across Indiana, and his legacy lives on in the spirit of creativity and community we cultivate here every day.

Our signature treat, the Volánt, is a French Americana layered donut inspired by both tradition and innovation—light, crisp, and crafted with care. Perfectly paired with our expertly brewed coffee, espresso drinks, teas, refreshers, or one of our house-made energy drink sodas we call, "Moonshiners" each Volánt is a little moment of indulgence meant to be savored. Whether you’re stopping in for your morning espresso, breakfast sandwich or enjoying a slow afternoon with a latte and a pastry, The Olde Bartley House invites you to sit down, sip up, stay awhile and of course share some of your good will. Here, we celebrate the joy of great coffee, artisan donuts, and the stories that make the Bartley House a home.
